Pacific Tuna Tahiti offers a large variety of products in order to adapt to different requirements of its customers.

The company takes its products from the local Polynesian Fisheries, whose distribution is taken as follows:

- 68% of albacore tuna
- 08% of big eye tuna
- 08% of yellow fin tuna
- 04% of blue marlin
- 04% of Ono
- 08% of mixed species (mahi mahi, striped marlin, swordfish ...)

Packaging:

The fish are packed in aluminum and insulated bags. They are then packed in strong carton box specially designed with a capacity of 80 kilograms.

For air transport, Pacific Tuna Tahiti is closely working with the local airline, Air Tahiti Nui, customs and health services. Transport chain strictly adheres to guidelines for quality, safety and hygiene. Pacific Tuna is the flagship of a quality Polynesian work attesting the professionalism of its staff.

Packaging:

Fish loins are packed in chosen vacuum packaging. These plastic bags are certified to European and American standards.
In this way, Tahiti Pacific Tuna preserves the quality of its product with a use-by date extended to 10 days from the date of packaging approved official agencies in charge.
To emphasize the importance of the cold chain, Gel Ice in sufficient quantity is inserted into the cartons to ensure product quality at the destination.

Then, these loins are stored in boxes with a capacity of 15 to 20 kilograms and have the distinction of being stronger.

Frozen Products

The Fishing:

The fish are blast frozen the fishing factory vessel in a tunnel at a temperature of -40 ° C. They are then stored in cold room at a temperature of -25 ° C. Tuna freezer Vessels working in collaboration with Pacific Tuna Tahiti are all accredited to European norms. The respect of standards of quality, hygiene and safety is the priority for the company to ensure maximum quality of our products. Series of tests are performed automatically at each fishing trip.

Packaging:

Frozen fish are stored in 20” reefer containers (around 14,000 kg net) or 40” reefer to a temperature of -25 ° C. These containers are then shipped to Pacific Tuna Tahiti’s customers.

Loins:

The fish are processed in loins on board then wrapped using a plastic film approved food. Then, the loins are blast frozen in a tunnel at a temperature of -40 ° C in IQF (Individually Quick Frozen). It achieves the temperature at heart in less than 4 hours.
Loins are stored in cold storage keep at a temperature of -25 ° C.
Tuna freezer Vessels working in collaboration with Pacific Tuna Tahiti are all accredited to European norms.
