Can you introduce yourself in a few words ?

My name is TEHAHE Tauraa, I'm 56 years old and I'm the Captain of the fishing vessel Vini Vini IX.

How many are you in the crew ?
We are a crew of 3 fishermen, plus me the Captain.

How is the cohabitation going ?

Isn't it too hard at sea ?

Oh no ! We are used to be together !

And the boat is well equipped.

There is everything we need in terms of comfort.

So for the sailors, it's very good.

It's like a second home ?

Yeah exactly ! We got air conditioned, there is everything, really everything.

So you must be satisfied about the confort of the ship ?

Oh yes ! I'm used to work on large fishing boat. At first when I was on the Vini Vini V, it was moving a lot, beacause it was a small vessel. And there were not enough space in the boat hold, when it hits ! We had to go back.
After only 2 or 3 days of fishing, the hold was full, it was better to go back.

While on the big boats, we can go all the way !
